These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website, online reservations, customer accounts, gift cards, and related services offered by KS² The Halal Steak & Grill (“KS²”, “we”, “us”) at our Scarborough and Mississauga locations in Ontario, Canada.

1. Acceptance

By making a reservation, placing an order, creating an account, or using our website, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Reservations

Reservations are requests subject to availability and confirmation by KS² staff.
Please arrive on time. We may release tables if guests are more than 15 minutes late without notice.
Large parties may be subject to a prepaid deposit or set menu, communicated at booking.
SMS or email may be used to confirm, remind, or update your reservation where you have provided contact details.

3. Orders & pricing

Menu prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) and, where applicable, exclude Harmonized Sales Tax (HST).
HST is calculated and displayed at checkout in accordance with Ontario tax rules.
We reserve the right to modify menu items, pricing, and availability without prior notice.
Online orders are subject to acceptance by the restaurant. We may cancel or adjust an order if an item is unavailable.

4. Accounts & security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
After five (5) failed sign-in attempts, your account may be temporarily locked for fifteen (15) minutes.
You must provide accurate registration information and notify us of unauthorized use of your account.

5. Gift cards

KS² gift cards are prepaid stored-value cards issued in Canadian dollars (CAD). By purchasing or redeeming a gift card, you agree to the following terms, in addition to any rights that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) or other applicable law.

Activation & validity: A gift card becomes active only after KS² staff confirm payment. Each card is valid for six (6) months from the date payment is confirmed, not from the date the card is requested online. After the expiry date, any unused value may no longer be redeemable except where required by law.
One-time use: Each gift card may be redeemed once only. When the card is applied to a transaction, it is considered used and cannot be used again, even if a balance remained on the card.
Split payment: You may combine a gift card with another accepted payment method—such as cash, debit card, or credit card—in a single transaction, up to the total amount due. The gift card will be applied first; any remaining balance must be paid by another method at checkout.
Verification: Redemption requires the phone number registered to the gift card. KS² may refuse redemption if the phone number does not match or if the card is inactive, expired, frozen, or already used.
Non-refundable; no cash: Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by Ontario law. Lost, stolen, or duplicated cards cannot be replaced unless required by applicable law.
Transfers: Gift cards are not transferable for value and may not be resold. Sharing a card for personal use is at the purchaser’s risk.

6. Conduct

We expect respectful behaviour toward staff and other guests. We may refuse service to anyone who is abusive, intoxicated, or otherwise disruptive, in accordance with Ontario liquor and safety regulations.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Ontario and Canadian law, KS² is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our website or services. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) or other applicable legislation.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
